I don't think San Fran was a fraud.

They may have overachieved somewhat. But you don't luck into winning 107 games and outsprint the Dodgers for the division.

They got their butts handed to them by the better team when it counted. The Mets will be no different

I don’t know that’s totally fair. The Dodgers really had to overextend themselves to beat the Giants in 5 games and it came back to cost them dearly against us.

Yeah. We still won, but we were very fortunate that the Dodgers taxed themselves at the end to try and win the division, and that 5 game NLDS was brutal for them as well. Urias and Scherzer basically having dead arms by the time they saw us helped tremendously.
