GDT: 8/15/14 BRAVES VS A'S

Not going to complain (although it's going to come off as fair-weathery), but this typifies this feast or famine lineup. Got the long ball working tonight and we're up 5-0.
 
Another great job by Alex! No reason he doesn't go in for the 7th though. Either way, Doumit needs to be gone.
 
I wish we could put together a string of these games. We've not won back to back games though since that San Diego series at home.

Not gonna be easy to win anymore this series. Got two tough pitchers coming up. If we could somehow sweep though, it would be a tremendous boost. Nats won again, but it was against the Pirates so we picked up a game on them at least.

Real baseball teams score on small balls. We would still be playing this game without the long ball which is a disgrace.

And Justin Upton never gets hits when they matter. His HR today was totally worthless. Infact everyone's but Freddie's didn't matter, only one with any heart.

I see what you're doing. But, we do suck when we're not hitting bombs. Hammel has sucked balls since coming to Oakland. We'll see what we do against better pitching the rest of the weekend.
 
Seeing a difference in body language and the on field intangibles the last four games. Hope it keeps up. Got about six weeks and cannot afford to lose another series.
