I didn't say that was career numbers, those are his numbers this year to go along with 14 homers. He is a much better hitter than their other catchers and can be a difference maker for them as he was tonight. But hopefully we still beat them regardless. Time will tell.
His numbers this year aren't really that relevant though when talking about what kind of hitter he is or how valuable he can be for Philly. He's extremely unlikely to maintain his current performance. Sure, he's significantly better than their other options, not he's not the sort of bat that can carry an offense. Their offense is still not very good even with Ramos.
