Yes, but you need at least 3 consistently good starting pitchers during a season. We don’t have that right now.
I don’t trust Smyly. His FIP is over 5.
The Nats have lost 11 of 12 (once again, thanks Will Smith). Snit doesn't need to let Smyly "figure it out" go a full 5 and give up 5-6 runs and possibly lose this easily winnable game against a bad team.
