I don’t know if Grissom is a SS, maybe we find out next year. It’s easier to play fringy guys there provided shifts aren’t banned. But he can definitely play 2nd.

I feel comfortable saying he’s going to be a plus offensive player. The caliber of ABs he puts together are impressive. He’s got plate discipline and a strong feel for contact.

It’s time to give Grissom an outfielders glove and get him in LF. This guy can’t be riding the pine come October.

Once Ozzie comes back I suspect that's what happens if he's still hitting well

I wouldn't wait - More reps the better. We know he won't be at second in the playoffs.

He should be playing LF 1-2 times a week right now.

Grissom is currently rocking a 1.310 OPS on the back of a .500 BABIP and a 66.7% HR/FB rate. Needless to say, none of that is remotely sustainable.

However, that 12.5% BB rate, 20.8% K rate, 80.8% contact rate on pitches in the zone, and 39.7% swing rate out the zone are very encouraging.

His average exit velocity of 88.7 is very mediocre, as is his 94.3 mark on FBs/LDs. He certainly seems to be more of a contact oriented hitter, and who knows if he will grow into some more power. He certainly looks like he has some room for adding physical maturity since he appears to be 17.

This. No way the plan is to throw him in LF without reps given how close we are to the playoffs and still in the division hunt.

Adrianza can play 2B. He isn't 'capable' but he can man the position. Most importantly we need to get Grissom reps in LF for playoffs.

Fair point. I don't disagree. These things usually sort themselves out and if not I'm sure AA will make the right decision. Let's just hop Grissom can continue this

Take out the top and bottom outocme and he is at 89 which is the same as players like Kyle Tucker / Realmuto / William Contreras / Luis Robert.
