GDT 8/16/2013: Nationals @ Braves

Well Ramos and Rondon have 3 of the 5 hits against Wood tonight. Understandable move.

Yeah, I didn't realize until I actually went and checked GameDay, so, it definitely makes sense.

Remember when we were all begging for Wood to replace Maholm in the rotation and a certain poster on here (don't remember who) was saying that losing Maholm was huge because he was averaging 6 IP per start and that Wood wouldn't be able to do that. Well so far Wood has done just that. Since Wood got moved into the rotation his outings have been 4 1/3 IP, 7 IP, 6 IP, 6 IP, 6 1/3 IP and he's put up a 2.73 ERA while doing it. Guess it's safe to say the majority of the posters on here were right about that.
