GDT 8/16 - The Thing From Pembroke invades Little Havana

I realize how hypocritical it is of me to say I enjoy watching a ball called to a Braves hitter that's been a strike to the Marlins batters all night. The pitch that walked Heredia has rung up a few of the Fish in this game.
 
Up by eight in the sixth, I'm reminded of when Skip Caray used to say, "if you promise to patronize our sponsors, it's okay now if you want to take your dog for a walk."
 
Albies 1 rbi behind Aguilar for the league lead. Duvall is 3 behind.

Duvall is 2nd in the league with 27 homers. Freddie and Riley right behind him with 26 and 25.
 
For a dude that’s given up 3 runs or less in every start this season besides one you guys sure love hating on Touki lol.
The dude is a better pitcher then Smiley or any other 4 or 5 we’ve had this season imo
Is he a ace or number 2?
Of course not
But the kid is learning how to use his stuff and when he doesn’t walk many like tonight can give you the production of a solid middle of the rotation SP.
I’m sure Anderson will come back soon and they will keep Ynoa on as the 5th starter along with trash ass smily but I hope they cut Tomlin and use Touki along with Smiley/Ynoa as a middle innings long man.
I think he’s earned it with what he’s done with the chance this season
