GDT 8/17/22: Braves vs Mutts - A Third Helping of Revenge

These give up games by Snit irritate the **** out of me. Even 1 run down he was going to keep putting in the mop up guys in relief.

So, if Jansen pitches tonight then he can’t pitch tomorrow despite having the last two days off? It was a one run game. There’s always a chance when the game is that close. You have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow. Hell, we don’t even know who is starting. You need to win this series, so you need to try and win the game you have a chance to win NOW.

It doesn’t take a ****ing baseball genius to understand this.

Oh, and now of course with a big lead, the Mets can sit Diaz for the 9th and have him fresh for tomorrow. Derp.

There. Is. No. Chance. Even our very best hitters swing haplessly at everything that spins and stand there like ****ing statues when he does throw it down the middle of the plate.
 
You don’t bring Stevens into a 1 run game in a division game like this. I don’t care whose closing for the other team.
