Braves need one man to reach for Harris to have one more shot at extending the multi hit game streak.
AA missed the chance to sell Murphy at peak value. His options now are keep him as an overqualified backup catcher, or trade him for a lesser return than he could have gotten at the deadline.

Same happened in the 1-run game in NY this week, too. He only wants to use the backup catcher when tied or trailing for some reason instead of trying to add-on for a shaky bullpen.

Sitting Baldwin for Murphy so much while he’s struggling like this is mind blowing. Reminds me when Snit always sat Murphy when he was red hot for TDA when TDA wasn't hitting year before last. Just keep starting Murph every 5th day for Waldrep. Come on.

Are the Braves are a bottom 5 analytics franchise? I thought AA would be all about analytics when hired from the Dodgers, but when the team is led by anti-analytics Snitker and Weiss, one has to wonder.
