According to fWAR combining our position and pitchers value, only teams ahead of us are the Nats, Dodgers and Cards. For a more complete breakdown.

Nats - 34.6
Dodgers - 33.0
Cards - 27.8
Braves - 27.7
Brewers 27.1

Basically we should be where the Cards and Brewers are, not the Pirates and Giants. Our players are getting results, we're not seeing guys put in the position that will maximize our production (say batting 2 of our worst hitters 1-2 and leaving so many open bases for Freddie and Justin our far and away 2 best hitters)
 
Simmons was lucky to have not been thrown out (slowing down and looking back at the pitch). BJ had his pouty face on.
 
Was that ball that BJ struck out on the only strike he saw? Haha the bad move works thanks to a bad throw and hit by Harang!

It was a bad move with pitcher due up, but a terrible throw and Harang hit made it work. The odds that both happen are very slim. But I'll take it. :-)
