It's awful. ESPN and MLB both are just stupid in their own right. I understand the hype is there and at least Gomez puts up with it, but who cares about them? Show us some guys who play the game right. They slobber over Trout but at least he's a great player who doesn't boast. He's just good.

Kimbrel, Walden, Carp, Varvs, Russell are well ahead of Hale.

You know, when he first hit the ball, I thought Gattis acted like he got under it and had flied out to left field. Then we all saw that it was a case of "ding dong the pitch is dead."

You're right about him not hotdogging it--which is refreshing in this day of clowns like Harper.

Shoot, when he get hits by a pitch, he doesn't do anything, just drop the bat and head to first, no antics, unlike.....well you know.

....it probably was just a scratch to him.

Nonsense, Hale is a good pitcher in relief or starting. Carpenter is a one hit wonder and Varvaro is fading fast in a bigger role just like in the past. Enough said.

That said, I shouldn't even be arguing with you as it's like picking on a retarded kid.

Starting yes.

He's the 5th-6th best RP.

Carp has been pretty good as of late, fair point with Varv.

When everyone is healthy/right, Hale isnt even on the pitching staff.

I think its always possible. More likely though its about Jason getting more AB's and BJ getting less (even though BJ is hitting a little). If we could just find a way to sneak into the playoffs and have Upton/Freeman hot then I suppose anything is possible.
 
Also, it would be nice to make it into the playoffs and Gattis is recovered from his injury.
