Seems like every year people forget how the playoffs looks in reality.

Each team has MAYBE 2 starters that will pitch into the 5th inning or later. Otherwise, its all about the bullpens and Braves are loaded.

Same reason people complain about our catcher not playing or our starting pitchers going deeper into games.

People don’t understand that we are trying to win a WS and from here in, it is perfectly fine to lose some games that we could easily win—- but we need to be as healthy as possible in 60 days. These games are essentially meaningless.

It's more that being forced to claim Chirinos off waivers and start him multiple times shows how little depth we have in our rotation beyond our main starters.

I really wish Shuster hadn't fallen apart. Hopefully he gets it back together and can at least be a fill in starter.
