And in the meantime, our guys continue to swing at miserably bad pitches and give away outs. Just going to need to try our best to flush the series from memory.
Not to mention when we do hit it hard it's right at guys.
The number of absolutely godawful at bats vastly outweighs our line drives at people this series.
The Rockies have gotten some luck today but they've played better baseball. There just is no other way around it. We ran into a team with an actual pulse and pissed away two games that should have been wins. We better start beating good teams in a damn hurry.
Luck gave them at least two games this series. Us playing godawful baseball kept it close enough that their insane luck was the difference.
If you're considering Dansby's completely stupid error luck, I guess. If you're calling leaving Minter out there with a blister to throw lollipops over the middle of the plate luck, I guess. Or swinging at pitches in the dirt that were never close to strikes to begin with luck. Then yeah, I guess they're lucky.
Great series, braves. Hats off
If the Braves miss the playoffs, in this season in the NL, it's going to absofreakinglutly be on only 1 stretch, even considering many games that can be discussed. Losing seven straight to the Giants and Rockies at home and getting absolutely slapped around in the process, with those teams looking head and shoulders better than the Braves.
