We have an opportunity to finish with a top 5 record in the NL since the ASB. That would be an accomplishment considering the circumstances.
One can only hope so.So I'll say it...back on the juice?
and the same, if not more going into next year. While it’s fair to blame injury woes on bad luck, the reality is Strider was coming back from a 2nd elbow rebuild, Sale ended the season with a bad back, Holmes was a converted BP arm, and Lopez had multiple arm issues.
Anyone claiming this pitching situation came out of nowhere is a fool.
Yep, and nearly this entire board was cautioning it loudly. And there were good additions to be had that wouldn’t have put us over the tax. Sad that AA couldn’t see the obvious. While it’s fair to blame injury woes on bad luck, the reality is Strider was coming back from a 2nd elbow rebuild, Sale ended the season with a bad back, Holmes was a converted BP arm, and Lopez had multiple arm issues.

Resident glass half full guy I see.and the same, if not more going into next year.
Strider is still a 2 time elbow guy who hasn't shown ability to pop 98
Sale is still made of glass
Schwelly has a broken elbow, that could easily lead to a spur and need to be scoped
Lopez is missing a shoulder and hasn't thrown all year
JJ is missing a leg and hasn't thrown all year
Holmes is just prolonging the inevitable
Waldrep is Waldrep until he shows this for a longer period.
Elder... puke
AJSS won't be back next year
There is a ton of work to be done.
