"Everybody was cheating but only I got caught." Just wondering, has anyone who's been ever been caught cheating (team or person) offered another excuse? Cheaters screw the ones who don't cheat. For that reason, they're deplorable and the excuse is lame.
 
Can't help but wonder if you'd ever put a pitcher named "Blewett" as your closer?

Honestly, given the wet field and his defensive limitations, was anyone else surprised to see Soler make that catch?
 
I was surprised - and irritated that he even tried it - given the hamstring and eight run lead ….
Which, of course is down to a six run lead now
 
If I never see Kelenic again, that'll be fine with me. Chuck it in the fourth row behind third base after once again not protecting the plate. Buddy, you haven't earned the benefit of the doubt on a borderline pitch and your 40%K ass needs to be in Guadalajara or the KBO. You're a ****ty player with a ****ty attitude.
 
Remember how we were talking about how we haven’t had one of those patented, few weeks long hot streak from some player off the scrap heap like in years past? Merrifield is that guy right now.
