I don't think Shuster was that bad. He should have had a 1-2-3 first inning, but this umpire sucks.

Imagine if Snit used a better reliever with our rested bullpen to keep the lead 3-2.

He wasn't exactly good. Gave up the HR and fell apart in the 5th. But that's basically what you expect from a fringey pitcher with extremely below average stuff.

Problem is he's been getting murdered in AAA this year too. Considering his complete lack of an arsenal, expecting him to be a 5th starter is seriously optimistic.

Since when did McHugh become "our worst reliever"? He's been solid since we got him and he usually doesn't walk people. Last time out he went 3 scoreless.
