GDT #8 4/9/'14 Braves(Santana) vs Mets(Wheeler) No BJ Simmons batting 2nd.

FG is an effing idiot I would have to imagine Santana is a bit upset right now. FG makes no sense this man has zero clue when it comes to baseball. Last year Carpenter over CK..two years ago pitching to Kemp with a base open and now this...the list could go on and on. However those are the best evidence of this mans ineptitude when it comes to baseball.

And now wasting our closer.
 
Now Fredi uses Kimbrel, lol. Santana at 88 pitches and a 4-0 shutout and Fredi finds a way to burn both Walden and Kimbrel? That's pathetic.
 
Warm up Avilan. Pull Santana. Bring in Walden. Pull him for Kimbrel with a four-run lead and only two on. Can't get much worse than that.
 
Just further proof that Fredi is just not a good manager. Take out a guy in as much control as you can be, then be forced to use your closer. That is what makes him a bad manager. Just dumb.

You call it 'wasting', I call it, using our closer in a save situation. Yes, it likely shouldn't have gotten to be this; but, you have to have confidence in other members of your bullpen to not put the game in this situation.

Santana was in his first start of the year, his what, 5th over all? He had far less work than our other pitchers this spring due to coming on so late, no sense in pushing him. It is a 162 game season.

I don't put this on Fredi, I put this on Walden for not making the pitches he needed to.

Thats FGs MO he will find a way to screw up something that is working jusy fine....ie this bone head decision and the tgis years line up. I mean this team was hittinh on all cylinders last years lineup why tinker with it. I took 3/4 of the season last year to find one that would work and when he finally does he throws it away and starts over. I do not see how people can defend this man at this point.
