GDT #8 4/9/'14 Braves(Santana) vs Mets(Wheeler) No BJ Simmons batting 2nd.

I actually support the decision to bring in Craig. Walden was doing his best to allow the Mets to score.

Thats FGs MO he will find a way to screw up something that is working jusy fine....ie this bone head decision and the tgis years line up. I mean this team was hittinh on all cylinders last years lineup why tinker with it. I took 3/4 of the season last year to find one that would work and when he finally does he throws it away and starts over. I do not see how people can defend this man at this point.

I agree, that's why I said a few years ago that I don't see us winning a WS title under him. Though I like our talent to do so with a better manager.

I agree that Walden carries a large chunk of the blame, but there was zero reason to take out Santana. He was at 88 pitches and showed zero signs of wearing down. It was as good a performance as I've seen from a Braves starter in a while.

And now it's 4-2.

If we blow this I want Fredi fired on the spot but that we're in this position is on him. Enough said.

As much as I would love for us to lose and him be fired if he wasnt fired after the collapse of 2012 and leaving CK in the bullpen nothing can happen to get him fired.

Wow, tying run at first and go-ahead at the plate now.

Now tying run at third, this is really happening? 4-3...

Warm up Avilan. Pull Santana. Bring in Walden. Pull him for Kimbrel with a four-run lead and only two on. Can't get much worse than that.

You left out that Carpenter also warmed up. Given that, why not use him rather than Walden.

Fredi finds a way NOT to put players in the best position to succeed. That's what he does.

Blame Fredi all you want. However this mess is on the right arms of Jordan Walden and Craig Kimbrel.
