I saw Laz ump a Braves’ spring training game. He called everything off the outside part of the plate. He seemed like he was ready for the game to be over by the second inning.

Given that the Twins went lefty heavy on Soroka, I'm not surprised about them getting ball in the air. He's probably changed his approach and is throwing a lot more changeup (or something?) in an attempt to neutralize it.
