GDT 8/6/20 Lineup with a Greek God

One start doesn’t mean he’s starting to turn the corner but if you look at Touki’s k per for the season it’s pretty freaking elite.
I understand there have been many pitchers in the past that had nice strikeout totals and never panned out but I’ve always been a fan of his since it’s pretty clear he has great swing and miss stuff.
If he could limit the walks then I still think he could be a nice 3/4 in a rotation.
The only possible bright spot of Soroka going down would be for some of our youngsters who never truly had a long stint in the rotation to gain some confidence and develop.
I believe that’s what happened to Charlie Morton when he left Atlanta.
Finally got a full season to develop in Pittsburgh without the constant fear of being sent down and flourished.
Who knows maybe TT will be that guy.

I’d bet on Toussaint or Wright being that guy over Newcomb. Let’s hope it happens for (at least) one of them, though.
