Alonso is a great power hitter having his best year in what's arguably a players prime season. So the year he is having isn't too much of a surprise. What he doesn't really matter. Braves have a really good 1B too.

This is basically the same offense that stunk up the joint the last few years. However, their pitching is dominant.

Fangraphs has their offensive value better than the braves, wrc+ is Mets advantage, and wOBA is a basically a wash, braves by .005

Braves to me are much better 3b, rf, c. Bullpen.
Argue ss, 1b, etc.

Mets seem more consistent in their approaches

Braves have better depth. But in a playoff situation, I'd take Scherzer and deGrom with Diaz at the back. Of course anything can happen in the playoffs. Braves beat Scherzer last year and won off an equally dominant Hader so who's to say what will happen.

If you think this low exit velocity team is for real I have some ocean front property in AZ I want to sell ya. They're playing over their heads and I will bet you over the next few years we will outperform their offense.

Scherzer was toast in the NLCS…he even admitted that…so was Urias…

Look the Braves started ****ty and are behind. They are not playing well vs Mets.

I’m not seeing more talent on their team.

What guys are you trading straight up, no contract concerns, over our guys? It’s not zero for me but it’s not most. Add in contract and age and it’s is hands down.
