GDT 8/7/2021 Braves vs. Gnats - These Braves are on Fire!

If Morton doesn’t bat it’s a coin flip in my mind to let him pitch the 7th. I’d probably lean to letting him keep going.

If his spot comes up this inning with runners on he can’t be allowed to hit.
 
Looks like our hitters have been switched back to the "off" position. We've seen this act before, several times this year in fact. Hopefully, it's not the start of a trend.

He's past the heart of the order so it makes sense to let him start the 7th.
 
It’s probably preferable to anyone coming out of the pen right now unless they’re looking to use Jackson. Snit probably thinking Rodriguez for the eighth. Too bad Greene sucks.
 
While I disagree with going to the BP here, it is a perfectly acceptable move. That 30 pitch inning may have been especially draining.
 
Matzek is back in great form. I hope we don’t run him in the ground. It really is a shame Minter hasn’t been able to stick or AA wasn’t able to grab another lefty at the deadline.
 
This has been pretty bad offense by the braves. Need to get it going again tomorrow bc the reds gonna score
