hahahahahh

Our problem is we have to many guys that need rest in the rotation. Its cool if you have 1 maybe 2 at the most. But we have Sale, Lopez, and Fried. Thats to many needed starters. AA needs to replace Fried with a guy that can go on 5 days rest and replace Morton with an innings eater.
Thats literally what Charlie was supposed to do for us this year.

Fried is setting himself up to be that guy who takes a 1 year pillow contract with his former team.
who did you expect to start... he is the defacto 5th starter until Lopez is ready.
Not that it matters, but I suspect Lopez to take longer than his IL stint.. and I have a feeling Fried will also hit the IL again.
Have you heard of Spencer Schwellenbach? Because it’s supposed to be his turn in the rotation.

With that "news" that Snit may retire after 2025, I really hope AA finally breaks off from the Bobby Cox tree. This means no Eddie Perez or Walt Weiss.
I am big fan of Rocco Baldelli myself. AJ Hinch as well. Both guys could see themselves without jobs within the next 12 months, through no fault of their own.
If we need a manager, there's no way AA doesn't look for an ex-A's guy. He loves the A's

No rumblings on Baldelli's status up here so I think he's safe. I think things were murkier a month ago, but the Twins have been on a roll and look to be playoff bound. If there's a collapse, I can see the front office going in another direction, but I think it would be a mistake.
Baldelli is a very good manager and does a great job of managing line-ups and keeping guys fresh. Willi Castro is the Twins' super-utility guy and he's played almost every day at one of five positions (2B, SS, 3B, CF, LF). It's always been a chicken/egg quesion with me regarding Snitker is whether the Braves lack a super-utility guy or if Snitker wouldn't know how to use a super-utility guy. Baldelli also rotates the DH role between several guys.
Baldelli is super low-key with the press; kind of a New Age Snitker. Hipper terms instead of the standard old school cliches when addressing what's happening. He runs a very good clubhouse and part of that is he appears to have total buy-in from the players. My favorite sports talk radio host up here has termed him the Baldelli Lama and that's a pretty good description of his demeanor. I think he'd be great for the Braves, but it would be a change from having a guy that simply writes in pretty much the same line-up every day (when guys are healthy). Of course, to do what Baldelli has done up here, he'd have to have a more flexible bench.
