Acuna's gotten more MVP buzz than FF has, but yeah, FF certainly is in that conversation.

white sox are a really bad team, as we saw today and that is why the mets and others have had an easy time sweeping them too. But you still have to play well to do so and and we did thanks to Freeman on offense today. Teheran actually pitched better than any starter this weekend despite his mistake to their pitcher. Good job by him and he got a well deserved win.

White Sox arent great but they have some good offensive players, and the pitchers they had coming into this series Nova/Lopez/Giolito were pitching well. Giolito dominated us today, except for Freddie.
 
It's insane Freddie finally has an MVP level year, and Bellinger/Yelich have been just as good if not a little better. Baseball, cruel game.

look at the line-up after JD today, he should dominate in that situation. Mac and Swanson are still rusty, esp. Mac. Acuna is slumping too so that made for a day you'd be crazy to let Freeman beat you but what did he do? lol thanks kid but that was stupid.
 
BTW, another thing that makes the white sox so bad is they do stupid stuff at the worst times. For example, Anderson trying to steal third with Jackson losing it. They did the same thing in one of those games against NY running themselves out of an inning. But that is what bad teams do I guess.
 
Just bad luck that Bellinger is having such an incredible year. As good as Freddie is, Bellinger has him beat in every catergory pretty much except for RBI
 
So far the Braves are averaging 32,630 fans per game, good for 12th in MLB in attendance. In 2018 we averaged 31,552, also good for 12th.
 
Mets are still playing vs Philly yet they are supposed to beat the Nats tomorrow after flying out later tonight and playing at 1 pm? Nats sitting home waiting after an early afternoon game. That makes them bigger favorites as the Mets should be tired.
