It's OVER 5,000!
The crazy thing is he doesn't have to hit much to be an MVP candidate. Some say he's one already, and I think he's our team MVP.
Yep.

The last #Braves player to record more than five RBIs in a game was Jeff Francoeur who had 7 on April 12, 2008 vs. Washington.
Hard to disagree. I think its Freeman but he is right there for sure.
BTW, did Mitch Williams really say that?
I didn't witness it, but Twitter blew up because of it. There's a great twitter feed called "heard on MLB Network" or something. Great lines.
Geez, I knew Williams was anti-Braves but that is insane.
He also said the other night that he would take Igelsias over Simmons saying he had more range.
Speaking of MVP candidate, how serious of an MVP candidate is Freddie this year?

That BJ Upton is a fine hitter.
I'm telling you. They need to put him at second base. Uggla is a negative at the plate and in the field. There is no way that BJ would be worse at second than Uggla.
I don't know. There's a reason he hasn't been playing there all along, but for curiosity's sake, I'd like to see if he is as bad or better than Uggla. That's something for winter ball/spring training, though.
Great signs out of BJ lately. Just wish he played teh defense I thought he would.
