GDT 9/2/23: Braves @ Dodgers - Keep on crushing

Listening Thome talk about hitting in these commercials makes me 100% certain I’ll never watch mlb network.

.183 BA since the break. His August was buoyed by a bunch of walks but when he swings, the results have been bad for a couple months now.

.209 BABIP in the second half though. That has to turn around eventually.
 
Man we really gotta squeeze out a win here tonight. We could totally punt tomorrow and give everyone off...we win tonight we lock up the #1
 
The Dodgers' bullpen is super solid. I'm not sure there's an arm I'm particularly afraid of, but they're just really strong.

Will be a lot scarier to face them in a playoff series, because there are scheduled off days. Just like how Matzek was basically available almost every game for 3 weeks for us in 2021. Formula will prob be get to their starters with a lot of runs and hope the front office micromanages Snit on bullpen management.
 
I love Minter, but he has scared the **** out of me this year. His last two months have been solid after a rough start, but he just hasn't been the same. And half of the time he has been good, he's giving up long and loud outs.
 
Well. Heading back to camp. Either I wake up and win my 10 dollar bet or the Braves officially sealed the 1st seed. I would prefer the later.
