Radio was saying it wasn’t official because they weren’t leading going in so the inning they took the lead they didn’t complete. But I don’t know.
No that would be the case if they took the lead in the top of the inning.

I and they understand that. But since the bottom half didn’t finish then by rule the inning isnt done. That said when you win it in the bottom of the 9th. You don’t keep playing. But I am just saying what radio was saying.

Joe even mention something about starting the inning over. Sounded kind of silly
Not one to ever question Snitker - he has forgotten more about baseball than I will never know (to use a very worn out cliche)- but If I had been he, just woulda used Igglesias or Minter in the bottom half of that inning.
Of course, now that we are gonna play, that would have been the wrong move I suppose….

Probably since they wouldn't call a game that close that early with so much riding on it. I would have rather have seen Chavez or McHugh start the inning. But I also get it because we haven't been getting deep starts lately. We have to start thinking about not running our relievers down in the final 10 days of the season.
