The issue is your perceptions are wrong. a mediocre pitcher comes in with a 5 ERA and you think we should light them up but thats a pitcher that gives up a run every 2 innings. Sometimes they do get lit up but they also do have good starts. If hitters hit them like you think they should they would have triple digit ERAs. Theres probably 25 fanbases making the literal exact same complaint as you and they all think the grass is greener on the other side and other teams dont struggle in the same way.

They way people spent the entire year being crybabies we dont deserve it. If we did win I will use that to **** on all the negative Nancies who only post doom and gloom for the next 20 years.

Morton is the right decision. Makes him unavailable for WC round which is fine because none of us want him starting. SS is amazing but we need to continue giving him extra rest. WC rotation looks like Sale game 1 and Fried game 2. For game 3 thats either Lopez or SS with the one not starting as an option out of the pen. I would trust either of them more than any reliever other than Iglesias. That might mean Morton starts game 1 of NLDS but it dont matter if we dont make it.

That’s the dumbest **** I’ve ever heard. No one is saying that they should hit bad pitchers every time. Braves have a terrible offense, and you don’t get to be that way by beating up on bad pitching as much as other teams. This spoken like someone who hasn’t watched the team all year.

21 was first title in decades. Just as unexpected as this one would be. Actually if the Braves make it in, I have higher hopes for this team than I did back in 21. The pitching was a wreck back then.

Unfortunately this would be the Braves last one for a while since Acuna is out of knees.
 
Fangraphs gives the braves the 2nd best WS odds behind the Phillies...

1. Phillies 19.9%

2. Braves 15.1%

3. Dodgers 13.7%

4. Padres 13.2%

5. Yankees 10.8%
 
Are the padres gonna be kicking themselves come Tuesday? By winning this weekend, they've pretty much locked themselves into sale, fried, and Lopez
 
If the Braves clinch today but still have to play at least one tomorrow, do you just throw Luke Jackson/Jesse Chavez tomorrow until their arms fall off and then position players? I assume we don't get an extra roster spot ("29th man") for the doubleheader.
