GDT 9/29/24: Braves vs Royals - Win and we're in

After we lose game 1 tomorrow, the Mets clinch. I wouldn't use sale. Just take a chance to be able to compete if we do make it
 
The silver lining is that if they were going to lose this is the best way to lose. Got down early so they didn’t end up using anyone significant out of the BP.

This team f*cking sucks. Even if we get in, it'll be another automatic 1st round elimination. No thanks. I think I'm done for this year. Eff Snitker, Seitzer and AA.
 
Bottom line is if Ozuna, Olson, and Harris don't all go ham, the team is not going to score. So we can hit Ozzie seventh or whatever, but the Mets' pitching staff will basically be stealing almost two whole innings with the Braves' 5-9.
 
Hitting Ozzie second is just so criminal. They say line-up construction not that big a deal but today he got one more ab than Ozuna and twice came up in huge spots. At least today him hitting second was just a killer.

Only way you see that is a DH sweep tomorrow, which probably won't happen. If Mets win game 1, they clinch. They might throw position guys in game 2 bc they get brewers.

No bottom line is Ozuna is trying to do too much every AB...Murphy doesn't need to catch another game this season....that mfer is sorry as hell...
 
Wildly easy win all said and we just didn’t come ready… at least offensively. Need to grab Game 1 tomorrow so we can save Sale.
