GDT - 9.29: Game 1, Nats at Braves - last regular-season series of 2023

I can't believe we are letting a bunch of low to mid-80's win teams into the playoffs. What a disgrace. I'm sure one of them will make the NLCS too.

Still not nearly as bad as the NBA. You have a decent shot at making the playoffs with a 35-47 record, lol. That’s really ridiculous

Austin Riley’s had a great year, but his struggles with RISP are perplexing. He’s hitting .200/.321/.754. That’s shockingly bad for a hitter of his caliber.

Is 754 his SLG? If so, that is pretty crazy. Obviously, you'd rather the average be better though.

Yes, two in one league, which is the normal now. It used to be rare that you’d get one low to mid 80’s win team in. Now it’s common to get two. It’s ridiculous.

Is it?

The 6 WC teams last year had win totals of 101, 92, 90, 89, 87, 86

This year your going to have two of the Marlins/Cubs/Reds/Dbacks with truly mid to low 80s win totals among all the WC teams.

Seems too early to tell how it will usually play out going forward.
