They'll use sale. There is a bonus with it though... if fried and Lopez can win game 1 and 2, sale could start game 1 vs dodgers. If we don't win first 2 at SD though, we will be eliminated.
 
How in the actual **** would you not start Sale with your season on the line? The Mets don't give a flying **** what's convenient for the Braves. They'd love nothing more than to win both these games.

You've lost your mind. Padres are much better than brewers. They have brewers
 
That isn't the worst Braves loss I've ever seen, but it's one of them. 3-0 in the eighth should be a win every time with this normally great bullpen.

I've watched trash brave teams that I loved. I detest this team. They make you sick every damn game... even in wins, they do stupid crap or go 6 innings without a hit.
 
Season on the line and Snitker leaves our two best relievers on the bench (Lee and Bummer). Gotta use Jimenez in the 8th!
 
And Pierce Johnson has sucked for a while now. He sucks so bad that Snitker actually removed him for JJ mid inning with a lead. Yet, he gets the 9th over those other two.
 
7 runs is enough to win and the offense did their job. This is on 3 guys and thats JJ, Iggy, and Johnson and now we have to pitch Sale.

Fried pitched on Friday. He is notoriously terrible in short rest. The Braves literally don’t have a SP on regular rest for tomorrow, and a BP that just covered a DH.

There’s almost no point in flying to SD even if they do win game 162.

Just go all-in on games 2 and 3 then.

Mets also won't be starting their best players. If we need Sale to beat that we shouldn't be in the playoffs.
