GDT 9/4/13: Mets (Gee) @ Braves (Loe) 12:10 PM

11 HR given up in 20 innings. The lulz. Fredi, if you wanted starters to get a rest, why not just let position players pitch?

I am not sure what BJ was doing on that last "hit"?

That said, Loe is at 70 pitches but I'd leave him out there now for at least six innings.

Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy, even the Mets.

Funny, I don't remember Chipper's Braves Hall of Fame induction speech being quite so rousing.

Kam must have read the Gameday scouting report:

Scout: Dangerous count for Kameron Loe; Dillon Gee is a dead-red fastball hitter, with a .445 OPS against them this season and .322 against everything else.
