Those who haven't heard, don't be surprised if you turn to Fox Sports Southeast Monday to see the #Braves and game's not there. It was switched to YouTube-only, the first of four such MLB games this month. John Smoltz will be on the call, however, with Kevin Millar & Scott Braun.

I’d put Ozzie leading off vs lhp and neck vs rhp
Not ideal but they should be on a good bit and I’d put FF back in the 2 hole in front of Ronald. We know he’s always on base so that means more 2 and 3 run hr instead of solo shots
With an actual MLB hitter in the 9 hole it’s not a huge deal to have Acuna batting 1. But the optimal lineup is still probably someone like Markakis in front of Acuna vs RHP, and maybe Swanson or Albies vs LHP.
Sure. I just don't think it's that big of an impact over a season.
In the end having your best hitters bunched together at the top of the lineup is what matters and the Braves are doing that.
Offense is not an issue for the Braves and where Acuna bats just isn't a big deal.

Tomlin is a much better pitcher than Kyle Wright will ever be for us.

Yikes hot take. I see Wright as one of the few who has a chance. Newk is all but toast. I think touki is a pen guy now. Wilson. To early to tell.

Wright just doesnt have the intestinal fortitude needed to be a starter. When he gets in a jam he just falls off a cliff. I think he would be valuable as a reliever but not as a high leverage reliever.
I really think teams should focus some of these pitchers like Wright and Newk on being 1 time through the order pitchers. Pitching 2-3 innings at a time.

Wilson needs a 2nd pitch, but he's a BP guy and someone i wish AA sold high on this winter. Touki as a late innings guy is his best fit imo. Newk is toast, agreed. Also need to see more from Wright but everytime he gets in a jam, he folds.
