GDT: 9/7 Marlins at Braves

Boy, the NegaBraves must have heard a rally cry after a one run loss to the Marlins.

They are seeing all these BLM protests but think it means Braves losses matter.

Holy cow. So the guys that have done well all year now all suck and should be shot in the sun. Neck will be fine and will get hot again. Relax. TDA has been great but gets pull happy. He will be fine. Relax folks. Bad games happen.

I think our offense is fine. Yes, they didn’t do a good job getting runs in today...it happens.

The reason we have failed in the playoffs, is our pitching woes. At one time the starting rotation was “ok” and bullpen horrible. Now we have a championship bullpen and offense, but really ONE pitcher we can count on. The Nats were not a great team last year, but had three pitchers better than any of ours (no offense to Soroka and Fried...they were rookies and same goes for Anderson this year).

Nothing will change until AA fixes the rotation, just like he did the bulllpen.

Yes, I realize that he could not have imagined the implosion we had this year. Yes, he should have made a few more moves to strengthen us and give us a shot. No, he didn’t have to “sell the farm” to do that.

We are toast unless Hamels comes out on fire and maybe Folty or Wright also.

That was the case before this game. That has been the case ever since we lost Folty and Soroka in back to back weeks.

Actually I’m not totally sure what to make of TDA. He’s been good for us this year no doubt. He’s had a really high BAIP though. Is he due to regress or can he continue to be counted on for offense?

Of course he’s due for regression. I thought we all knew that. Snit also hasn’t been resting him enough because he’s the “hot hand”.

He is a good catcher. The mood swings on this board are absurd.
