GDT 9-7: Roku Game at 12:05: Ronald Acuna Batting 7th

Nacho Alvarez now with 40 games played for 150 at bats. Overall .256/.331/.338 for 91 RC. Last 30 days he is hitting .278/.356/.367 for a 106 RC. The lack of homers is concerning but power is something that should improve as he gets closer to his physical prime. His savant page shows him hitting fastballs okay but sucking vs breaking and offspeed. Not uncommon for rookies. I see potential for growth into a useful player. Defense not quite as good as I hoped at 3B. He really needs to be elite defender not just good.
 
Nacho has never had any power, nor has he ever had exit velocities that suggest future power is coming. That was always the problem with him as a prospect. He's a low end bench option who can't play SS.

he needs to be flipped for an oft injured BP that has been legit in the past.. see if we can get the Sale reliever option this time around. there is zero reason to keep him after this year imo.
