GDT 9/8/14: Braves (Minor) @ Nationals (Fister) 7:05 PM [Platoon GDT]

Honestly, I'm fine with trading Simmons. I can't watch him do this flailing around **** anymore. Goddamnit, keep your feet still and drive the damn ball.
 
Until this offense's construction is changed around, then we aren't going to go very far. I love this team, I like the talent, but there's only so much you can do when you have three figurative black holes it seems. (BJ, Simba, CJ)
 
If you can't change the players you have to change the mgr. Maybe they'll listen to a different voice, but I doubt it.

Its funny how people blame BJ. He's not playing, and we still get shut out almost every night. Everyone sucks.
 
Let's face it, if by some miracle this team gets a playoff spot. There's no way in the hell they're going anywhere. This is by far the worst Braves offense I've seen since this team has been good, need some wholesale changes in the off season.
 
I actually sort of don't want this team to go to the playoffs. They need to nit make the playoffs to have a wake up call like 2011.
 
If it takes several September shutouts/missed playoffs to get leadership and player personnel change, then sign me up. Even if they make the playoffs, they wouldn't get past the NLDS.

Wake-up calls are only good if you fix the problem. And there are a lot of problems. The players, coaching staff, GM, in that order, are all a part of this.
 
Instead of commenting on my frustration. Instead I say

Watching this team try to win games with a playoff berth on the line is slowly draining the life out of me. I'm starting to get to the point where I'd almost prefer they lose the next six games by 7-0 scores and just put me out of my misery.
