Heyward has really done well after a slow start, but he just hasn't hit for much power this season. I think he still has solid power potential, but we will have to see if major league organizations see the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if Heyward asked for (and received) a contract with an opt-out after three or four years similar to what J.D. Drew negotiated. He's still young and he may be willing to sign a contract that would give a slight discount (it will still be more than $20 MM AAV) for three or four years with the opportunity to either make more on the back-end or test free agency again.
