We didn't lose that game, our manager gave it away for us. That was embarrassingly bad managing by Fredi again vs the Mets. If he pulls this crap vs the Phillies or Nats we won't be winning this division in the end. But even if we hold on I doubt this team goes far in the playoffs. I hope I am wrong of course.

It may be time for our team to start traveling by bus. Playing on the road should not make you this much more terrible.
Exactly how our team works.
We seem to show up against better teams and fall asleep against non better teams especially on the road (unless we're playing at Miami).

I hope you are wrong too, but the proof is in the pudding right now. Just an mediocre team that had a hot first couple of weeks. Actually less than mediocre...today's lost makes them 20-23 since June 6th (saw stat on network last night). Wren (I guess Fredi too) have to determine what is the issue and what method they need to employ to solve. Problem is I don't really trust those two.
I know injuries have made their mark on this team, but most of the issues facing this team started way before injuries hit. I have never felt so frustrated with a team that is in first place by 8 games. If they were my child I would jerk a knot in them. They just seem too laid back and carefree.

Could this team be better? Yeah. But it's not nearly as big a deal as some of you are making it. Where were the giants at this point last year? Where were the Cards the year before that? There's still a lot of baseball left. Y'all relax. Go rescue a dog or have a cocktail or something. Dang.

I know....I am one of them and its frustrating. It's like right side of brain is saying..'braves are up by 8 games...relax and enjoy'. And left side is saying 'team is not playing well and will collapse soon'. I would feel better if this team could string some wins in a row and/or win a few series in row.
