I think it was just other guys played well enough while he was hurt that he just became the guy who didn't get much of a shot.

Hmm. I had some hope for Luplow.

I wonder if he has an automatic opt-out if he's removed from the 40-man. Hurt most of spring training, so he didn't get to show us much of what he had to offer and with Ozuna taking up space and the hunger for Pillar's Lairdership, he was probably going to be the odd man out all season.

I just think there are three ahead of him at this moment. Griss/Wall/White. And I doubt all three of those guys just stop being productive enough for Dean to leap them.

If White is going to have a chance he has to stop striking out... 7 K's in 17 at bats. I think Forrest Wall could get a shop given he was a 45 FV prospect and has the pedigree of a former first round pick and still only 27. He's had some pretty good minor league seasons but just hasn't gotten a chance at the MLB level yet. We don't even know if Grissom will get any reps/chances in the OF.
