2 years ago, aybar was a 3.9 WAR (4.1 oWAR) player. Last year, he was 2.3 WAR (2.6 oWAR). This year, he's -1.5 WAR (-0.8 oWAR).

I just don't get it. Hopefully he gets hot soon

The WAR numbers are why we pulled the trigger on the deal. However, the Angels were obviously astute enough to know when to sell and we got a player who's now killing us in the field and at the plate.
