GDT: Braves vs Reds Game 1

as long as he wears a mask it'll be ok

must protect Maximus from thethe droplets

He’s a covidiot and most certainly won’t be wearing a mask since they are not effective at preventing the spread of disease. The medical community has been pointlessly wearing them for decades.

I hope he catches it, and then dies with a
MAGA hat on.

LOL! Thanks for proving everything I've ever said about you.

1. If he's under 65 he's got a better chance of dying of the flu.
2. Masks are traditionally worn by doctors to prevent bacterial infections and are completely ineffective against an airborne virus.
3. Liberals used to champion civil liberties. What the hell happened to them?
4. Pitching to Freeman was idiotic.
5. Fried was huge.

At the end of the day, I don’t care. We won a game we absolutely should not have won. Hopefully that takes the pressure off the boys and they can go get it tomorrow

Freddie mentioned that the shadows were horrible today. I’m not sure if that explains all of it, but if true we might expect more of the same tomorrow.

6. Sandoval was yuger.

Very peculiar start time. It doesn’t take a tree hugging liberal to understand that there would be shadows close to the end of the game.

Watching the dodgers game and announcers commenting on stankees game. Said Corassco was great then reliever came in and grand slam. Um. Carlos went 3 innings. Gave up 4 runs and 3 walks. Far from great

Braves stole one today. Not sure why Bell pitched to Freeman with Ozuna on deck to set up a DP or force out.

He was crisp to start and then had a 30 minute rain delay. His bad inning was setup because of a misplayed ball in center.

I almost never watch sports live anymore - can't stand commercials and I like to get them done quicker (I can watch a football game in 45 minutes, for example). I DVR'd the game, set it to add an extra 1.5 hours, and made it to the top of the 13th with 1 out and the bases loaded when the recording ended. *sigh*

Up to that point it was the most frustrating game I ever watched. I'm convinced the ball was impossible to track with the bright light and sun above left field. Both sides struggled to hit hittable pitches. Things picked up in the 11th-12th inning when the sun moved behind them and the glare wasn't as bad. This is just my opinion, bu it's the only explanation I have for how that game went. I expect more of the same tomorrow if it's sunny.

3 innings doesn’t make a quality start. We had a ton of rookies who could be good for 3 innings then fall apart. He crumbled like Folty on a August summer day.

That’s along the lines of what Freeman said.

And I’m just thinking, of course the year we maybe have our best offense of all-time, MLB decides to negate that by making us play in terrible hitting conditions. Just like last year when they took away the juiced balls and it neutered our homer heavy offense.

Of course, maybe we don’t win if the Reds can pick up our pitchers too. Who knows.
