Not liking playING Neck but sitting swanson.

To be fair though swanson hasn't hit a ball hard in a long time. Something is up with him.

I can understand getting srodriguez in tonight. All the time with the pirates he has seen Lester quite a bit.

Interesting thing brought up on the radio by local talk radio guys, seems the braves are planning to trade either Phillips and/or albies. Why else would you rush SROD back when he only had 39 ABs in the minors and was hitting .077

Did they say that solely because Rodriguez is playing?

The local Atlanta radio guys are truly atrocious. The fact that Buck Belue is considered some kind of baseball mind is an embarrassment to us all.

Watch them trade him with Albies for gray. One month later, camargo's BABIP will be normal and we'll be screwed

His BABIP will go down but he's been much better at the plate(lowering the K's). He hasn't completely convinced me yet but there is a possibility of him being more than just a utility guy.

August 2011, Jose Constanza is in the middle of posting an .844 OPS for the month due to a .365 BABIP and the only 2 HRs he hit in his entire career...and starts several games in place of Jason Heyward.

We are seeing history repeat itself here.

This was chuck and chirnoff. But yes, saying essentially there is no point in rushing SROD through the minors and back to the Atl team if they weren't planning on trading albies and/or Phillips. It does make sense with their reasoning.

I mean no disrespect by this at all...but why the fck is Srod in the lineup? It makes no sense...

Dansby should not sit...but if he had to sit, it shouldn't be with a LH on the mound...This is how winning streaks end and losing streaks begin by stupid managing like that...

He could probably start at short and hit .260 and look great on paper.

Vizcaino starting tonight for Gwinnett for an inning or two. Should lead to activation Tuesday (Freeman down?).

Costanza vs Camargo doesn't make sense. Costanza was always a non-prospect.

You are offered 2 scenarios:

1. Flip a coin, if you guess right you get $100, guess wrong, you get $0
2. A guaranteed $55

Which is the right choice? 2.

If you unwisely pick 1, and you win $100, you still made the wrong choice.

If you unwisely picked 1, won $0, and then luckily found $55 on the street, you still made the wrong choice.

If you are a pozzy-Barve, you excitedly state "better stock up on coin flips chances!!"

Process vs Result. Logic vs Stupidity.

You're basing your Rodriguez opinion on numbers in a box score. Did you see any of the at-bats? Did you get a total on how many swings he's put in the cage. Have you looked at his career stats? Why are you getting bent out of shape over one game? This is the guy they targeted early in the off-season; they only acquired Phillips after he was hurt.
