Lux worked the count full after falling behind. Thompson fouled off a tough cutter, then got his little dinky hit. Meanwhile, Adam Duvall swings three minutes too late at everything. Almost every single hitter on the Dodgers makes you really work for it.

All in all, a 4-3 home stand against these teams is not bad at all. But that’s a rough game to give away. Hopefully they turn the page.

One thing that has now bitten the Braves again. Yes Snit needs to move O’Day to pretty much the last guy, but we are lacking another strong righty reliever. Stephens ain’t it, either.

When you allow 2 batters to reach on solid contact, it isn't unlucky. We blew it
Scoring runs with 2 outs on singles strung together is almost always going to be a bit unlucky. Take that to barely spoiling a 2 strike pitch before a flare when an out would have ended the game that’s significant bad luck.
It’s also baseball. If everything rode on a single game the unpredictability would be maddening.

Yep, but probably won a game earlier this week vs giants with huge 9th that shoulda lost. After a good night of sleep, 4-3 this week while being in every loss is a pretty dang good week
