We’ve got a huge problem that’s slowly crept up to the surface…Contreras and Arcia have grounded and at the same time…Mix that in with Duvall being sorry, Ozuna iffy, and Riley absolutely lost…We are in trouble.

I think we'll be ok. Rosario will be back to soon to platoon with duvall/ozuna.

I'd go get Merrifield. His k and bb rates are at career numbers. His babip is career low. His wOBA is over 70 points less than his xwoba, and this isn't normal for his career

We just went 4-3 against the Dodgers and Giants. We’ll be ok.

Contreras is fine.
 
People care about wins and losses way too much at this point in the season.

Most important thing for Braves is to just make the playoffs and the team is in great shape right now to do so. Even the division looks pretty good.
 
tough loss.. down to the last strike and couldn't put them away, then couldn't get the big hit in the 10th.

We desperately need to deepen our pen.. I know Matzek will surely help, but I think we are counting on Yates and Soroka too much.. both coming off big injuries and we need to temper our expectations.

I mean you’d have to think Waters right? He’s the only OF available on the 40 man and he’s got power and he’s been lowering his strikeout rate. Even if Snit decides to go with Ozuna in LF and Contreras at DH with Acuña out TDA will need a day off somewhere so Waters could find a start or two.

once waters comes here he will free swing again because he will see everyone around him free swinging.

I think TD is much more likely than waters. Waters has started to make a little progress, and I would like for him to be left at AAA to continue that.
 
has anyone been asked and had it explained why we just let them steal 2nd to setup the tying run in the 9th?
 
Jansen can’t hold a runner to save his life. His Elvis impersonation kinda prevents him being any good at it
