Can't imagine it'd be much, but getting him in there yesterday might have at least baited the hook enough that someone else doesn't want to gamble that Charlie makes it all the way to them if he's DFAd and they're willing to give up a marginal fringe prospect/suspect.

Adding Gosselin yesterday gives you the obvious depth replacement for Culberson (that's already tucked away) if he has to be exposed, but maybe there's a "nobody" out there that one of Alex' guys likes enough to take a closer look at.

AA did say on the radio this morning that he might be traveling with the team to Tampa....I wonder if he is working on something now.

I’d be happy if Anthopoulos could snag a TJ-rehabbing relief prospect for Ersatz Swanson. I’m not holding my breath.

agree.

But I asked the question b/c most seem to think he's done. Like 600 OPS done from last year.

Reports on his D in the minors were positive....per Braves sources. I'd like to hear that from a non-braves person but I haven't heard a non-braves person comment.

The way Comargo is playing, I'd like to see if this is real. That was one of my goals for this year, to see if Comargo is a regular.

AA is all in on Batts. He's been all in on Defense. This will be interesting.

If Batts hits a HR tonight will thethe start posting extension options? I'd say 100% yes but he loves Comargo and Riley.

we are getting to naked pictures level of power here. We have Albies, Comargo and Dansby who can play SS. We have Comargo, RF, and Batts to play 3rd. He's not a good PH. If AA is thinking of a defensive sub late like they did with Tucker....Comargo of RF is still better.
 
As soon as Dansby is back, I expect the clone to go down and Tucker to come back. Maybe as soon as tomorrow. Certainly by the roadtrip.
Bautista and Tucker off the bench, Carmargo everyday at third, Flaherty off the bench.
That is a winning formula right damn there.

Maybe we should consider DPete over tucker. DPete can play LF and RF and is having a great year so far

I'd like to have both as bench bats. I think we will next year. Maybe when RF returns to form we have those guys for the playoffs :)

D-Pete vs Tucker will be impacted by options and by the RH/LH spit. I expect next year we'll be very RH dominant and a LH pinch hitter might make more sense.
