I don't think it was worth missing an offense chance last inning just to have him get the bottom of the order. It wouldn't kill us to have our rested bullpen do that. It could be a difference between keeping this winning streak going and ending it too.

Seriously, not using Fried is a next level joke. If the manager only trusts him when the game is over, he needs to be down in AAA.
 
What's the point of having 2 guys who can pitch multiple innings when you have Moylan? Ugh

His stuff has been better of late, he had been 86-88 mph a lot when being hit hard earlier. But his last two outings he had hit 91 mph on his sinker at times and averaging more 89-91 mph. That's a good sign IMO.

That was another bad AB by Joey Bats because he had it 2-0 but chased ball three way high again. That helped the pitcher get back in it before the strikeout.
