Now you’re switching arguments. The statement was that they used their huge money advantage, not that it was a ethically questionable move.

I suppose when someone is wrong all they can do is reframe the discussion until they feel like they are right.

Except he mentioned in his post that money that the money advantage played a factor into being able to make a move for Chapman in his situation, and he's exactly right. They may not have been the only team capable of doing what they did, but there were probably less than 5-10 teams financially able to absorb that sort of risk for a reliever. And there was a good bit more risk than the average reliever.
