I seriously hope the people here who said defense was not worth paying for and said WAR overrates defense see the dropoff from McCann to Gattis/AJ, Heyward to Neck and Tron to Aybar and realize how lucky we truly were to have them.

With terrible defense his runs are cancelled out.

But you always said defense overrated players like Heyward and Simmons. So I'm glad you get to see why it's important to prevent runs and be very good at preventing runs.
