GDT: Nits vs Braves 4/6

Garcia at least seems locked in since his homer, he isn't chasing so many outside like he had been, spitting on them, then when he gets a pitch he isn't missing it. It reminds me of his hot start in AAA last year where he seemed locked in for the entire first month or so.

0-2 record obviously leaves a lot to be desired, but some very encouraging performances on this team thus far. There are some winless teams that look like a mess, and our situation does not seem that dire. Consistently good at bats by Garcia and no defensive issues yet. Bullpen is good and deep from the RH side. Bud Norris looks to be a tier above last year's experiments with Stults and Cahill. Not surprised by anything I've seen from Ender . . . just glad to see him doing it in a Braves uniform.

Really not too bad, other than the defensive lapses by AJ (and Beckham) and poor baserunning judgement. I'm afraid these two games may be the template for us against good pitching. We may be in a lot of games, but not have enough punch to win a lot.

Still, I was encouraged by Norris, Garcia, and Ender tonight. We have some good potential for a deeper bullpen than last year's flaming travesty.

Inciarte d is great. I question the arm. It's accurate but has looked a little light to me. Fine for cf but some have said he could be rf. I like his at bats but not driving much. On base has been good.

Aybar looked better early than I thought.

Corner of and catcher....so bad. Was bethancourt really that big of an ahole?
