The #Braves starting rotation has now posted the best ERA in the National League (3.34) through 81 games, bumping the Cardinals starting staff to second place (3.46)

I thought it was a weakness? Lmao.

We've had some surprises but AA is doing a masterful job of using the DL to get guys extra rest when needed and it all seems to be paying off.

In his 2 MLB starts Fried has a 2.24 FIP. Hopefully he gets a chance to stay there for awhile.

He was great, but you can tell he was tired when he was yanked. I think he said "spent" to Snit when he walked off the mound with no hesitation whatsoever. He wanted to be relieved.

It was an interesting decision to let him go out for the seventh inning. I think it might cost him a little in his next start if he goes on regular rest. Otoh there is some longer term benefit from Snit asking him to push past 100 pitches and give the team that extra inning.

Because I’m a masochist, I went back to check the thread, and I was right: by and large, the concerns were Markakis’ defense, the final two years of the deal (which were looking pretty bad after 2017, but which 2018 has obviously really buoyed), and why Hart thought it was a good use of a rebuilding team’s resources. There were also a lot of photos of James Franco c/o [MENTION=18]Dalyn[/MENTION].

As for the crux of the Mukaki rebuild, I was wrong about him and 2018. Figured we'd see some of this in the first year or two, but not by the end. Markakis is right there with Albies and Ender as one of my favorite players on the team.
